Summer is coming up fast and Left Hand Brewing Co. has just the beer to compliment the warmer weather.
Peach Beerllini Radler is a 4.1 percent ABV ale brewed with pale malts and peach nectar. The original radler was invented in 1922 when the owner of a Bavarian inn named Franz Xaver Kugler ran out of beer and added lemon-lime soda to a dunked lager to serve to some thirsty cyclists.
The new beer will join three other releases in the Longmont, Colo.-based brewery’s seasonal lineup:
- MS Gose Away — sour beer brewed with raspberries and lemon peel will that will debut in late spring
- Peach Beerllini — radler that will be released from May-July
- Oktoberfest — marzen lager available from August-October
- Pepper Porter — porter brewed with with chipotle and other mild peppers that is scheduled for November-January 2019
According to Left Hand’s 2018 release calendar, Peach Beerllini Radler will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans that will ship to retailers across the brewery’s distribution network from May-July.
