After introducing its first canned beer in August 2015, Laurelwood Brewing Co. is betting fans are ready for another one.

The beer in question is Golden Ale, a 5.1 percent ABV ale brewed with Ahtanum, Cascade and Columbus hops as well as great western two-row, dextrin and crystal malts. The ale was first released by the Portland, Ore.-based brewery in 2002 and is a year-round draft-only option, but the new cans will only be available between May and September.

“After the success of our Red Elephant IRA cans, we are excited to can another fan favorite,” said James Buxman, marketing and sales director for Laurelwood Brewing, in a press release. “Our refreshing, sessionable Golden Ale will be on the shelves just in time for the dog days of summer.”

According to a press release, Golden Ale will now be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and is shipping to retailers both Oregon and Washington starting this month.
