Next week, Lakewood Brewing Co. will release the final bottled Seduction Series release for 2015.

The beer is Sin Mint Temptress, a 9.1 percent ABV imperial milk stout brewed with lactose sugar, vanilla, fresh mint and graham crackers. It was first released as a draft-only option in 2012 and has been available at various times since then, but this will be the first time it has been bottled.

This year, the Garland, Texas-based brewery began bottling versions of its Seduction Series, which are variations of its Temptress milk stout that use different adjuncts to enhance the flavors of the base beer. The series includes Raspberry Temptress (9.1 percent ABV), which was released in February; Mole Temptress (9.1 percent ABV), which was released in May and French Quarter Temptress (9.1 percent ABV) which was released in September.

According to Craig Bradley, marketing and events manager at Lakewood, the newest release of Sin Mint Temptress will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles ($13.99) and the beer is scheduled to be shipped to retailers starting Nov. 16. Bradley also told Tenemu in an email that while exact bottle counts are not known, there will be “roughly the same amount of bottles produced” as the other Temptress variants releases. “In other words, you should be able to find a bottle pretty easily once it begins hitting store shelves.”

Sin Mint won’t be the last Temptress bottles to arrive this year, the much-anticipated Bourbon Barrel Temptress (9.8 percent ABV), which is not a part of the Seduction Series, is scheduled to return on Dec. 15.
