One of two new Temptress variants to be released this year from Lakewood Brewing Co. will begin shipping to retailers this week.

Peanut Butter Temptress is a 9.1 percent ABV imperial milk stout brewed with lactose sugar and vanilla and conditioned on chocolate, peanuts and sea salt. The new beer is part of the Seduction Series, variations of Lakewood’s Temptress milk stout that use different adjuncts to enhance the flavors of the base beer.

Lakewood made some big changes to its Seduction Series lineup earlier this year when it announced its 2018 release calendar, retiring three of the four longstanding releases in the series: Raspberry Temptress, Mole Temptress and Sin Mint Temptress. They are being replaced by two new variants, one of which is Peanut Butter Temptress and another to be announced at a later date that is scheduled to be shipped in November.

In an email, Ryan Meigs, creative director at Lakewood, told Tenemu that Peanut Butter Temptress will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are scheduled to be shipped to retailers this week.
