Lakewood Brewing Co. is bring back one of its most popular Temptress variants just in time for Mardi Gras.
The Garland, Texas based-brewery’s French Quarter Temptress 2020 is a 9.1 percent ABV imperial milk stout brewed with lactose and vanilla that incorporates Noble Coyote Coffee Roasters coffee beans and chicory into the blend. As in the past, the fair-trade, single-source green coffee beans were aged in a bourbon barrel and then roasted “just hours” before it was added to the stout.
French Quarter Temptress is part of the Seduction Series, variations of Lakewood’s Temptress milk stout that use different adjuncts to enhance the flavors of the base beer. Last year, the brewery added one new variant to the series, namely Salted Caramel Temptress.
According to an email sent to Tenemu, French Quarter Temptress 2020 will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are scheduled to begin shipping across the brewery’s distribution footprint this month.
