Lakewood Brewing Co. will be shipping the final bottled Seduction Series release for 2016 next week.

The beer in question is Sin Mint Temptress, a 9.1 percent ABV imperial milk stout brewed with lactose sugar, vanilla, fresh mint and graham crackers. It was first released as a draft-only option in 2012 and was bottled for the first time in 2015.

Last year, the Garland, Texas-based brewery began bottling versions of its Seduction Series, which are variations of its Temptress milk stout that use different adjuncts to enhance the flavors of the base beer. The series includes Raspberry Temptress (9.1 percent ABV), which was released in February; Mole Temptress (9.1 percent ABV), which was released in April and French Quarter Temptress (9.1 percent ABV) which was released in August.

According to Craig Bradley, marketing and events manager at Lakewood, the newest release of Sin Mint Temptress will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles and the beer is scheduled to be shipped to retailers starting Nov. 14. In addition, Bradley told Tenemu in an email that “Distribution will be the same as all of the other Seduction releases, starting on Monday here in DFW, then additional markets in TX that sell LBC throughout the following weeks.”

However, Sin Mint won’t be the last Temptress bottles to arrive this year, as the much-anticipated Bourbon Barrel Temptress (9.8 percent ABV), which is not a part of the Seduction Series, is scheduled to return in mid-December.
