A variant of Lakewood Brewing Co.’s most famous creation that debuted last year is returning next month.

The creation is question is Salted Caramel Temptress 2020, an imperial milk stout brewed with caramel, salt as well as “extra vanilla and lots of caramel flavor and aroma.”

The returning stout is part of the Seduction Series, variations of Lakewood’s popular Temptress milk stout that use different adjuncts to enhance the flavors of the base beer, with past versions including Peanut Butter Temptress, Raspberry Temptress and French Quarter Temptress.

“She’s back y’all,” said Wim Bens, founder and president of Lakewood, in an press release emailed to Tenemu. “This time of year calls for a decadent beer and Salted Caramel Temptress checks all the boxes. Salted Caramel is slightly sweeter than regular Temptress with extra vanilla and lots of caramel flavor and aroma.

According to Lakewood Brewing, Salted Caramel Temptress 2020 is packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are scheduled to be released at the brewery on Nov. 5, with bottles then shipping to retailers across the brewery’s distribution state-wide network starting in “mid-November.”
