If you want to drink raspberry-infused Lakewood Temptress at your home, out of a bottle, get ready.
According to the Garland, Texas-based brewery, 22-ounce bottles ($11.99-$12.99) of the 9.1 percent ABV imperial milk stout brewed with lactose sugar, vanilla and fresh raspberries from Oregon were filled last night and shipped to Andrews Distributing this morning. This means, the bottles will start to show up at retailers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area tomorrow with kegs potentially arriving at some locations today.
Raspberry Temptress is part of the Seduction Series, variations of Lakewood’s Temptress milk stout that use different adjuncts to enhance the flavors of the base beer. While all beers in the series have previously been draft-only releases, Lakewood will release four different Seduction Series beers in bottles this year: Raspberry Temptress; Mole Temptress in the second quarter; French Quarter Temptress in the third quarter and Sin Mint Temptress in the fourth quarter. In addition, Bourbon Barrel Temptress, which is not a part of the Seduction Series, is scheduled to return in December as well.
According to the brewery, approximately 9,800 bottles of Raspberry Temptress will be released, about double then number of bottles that were produced for the December release of Bourbon Barrel Temptress.
