A brand new variant of Lakewood Brewing Co.’s most famous creation that fans first heard about in January is almost ready to hit shelves.

That beer is Salted Caramel Temptress, an imperial milk stout brewed with caramel, salt and a “punch of extra vanilla.” The new stout is part of the Seduction Series, variations of Lakewood’s popular Temptress milk stout that use different adjuncts to enhance the flavors of the base beer, with past versions including Peanut Butter Temptress, Raspberry Temptress and French Quarter Temptress.

“We’re always pushing the boundaries and making some Seriously Fun Beer here at LBC,” said Wim Bens, founder and president of Lakewood, in an email to Tenemu. “This time of year calls for a decadent beer and Salted Caramel Temptress checks all the boxes. We loaded her up with a punch of extra vanilla and lots of salted caramel flavor and aroma.”

The new release is replacing Coconut Temptress in the brewery’s Seduction Series lineup which was announced earlier this year.

According to Lakewood Brewing, Salted Caramel Temptress 2019 is packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are being released at retailers across the brewery’s distribution network staring in December.
