Next month, one of Lakewood Brewing Co.’s most famous creations will see a brand new variant added to it.

Double Chocolate Temptress is a 9.1 percent ABV imperial milk stout brewed with “a rich blend of single-origin, 100 percent cacao chocolate and cacao nibs” sourced from Yelibelly Chocolates as well as lactose and vanilla that will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles.

“One of the dominant flavors in Temptress is the chocolate malt. It’s what makes Temptress so big and rich. So why not go BIGGER?” said Wim Bens, founder of Lakewood, in a press release. “We partnered up with our friends at Yelibelly Chocolates and put our brewer and their chocolatier brains together to do just that.”

The new stout is part of the Seduction Series, variations of Lakewood’s popular Temptress milk stout that use different adjuncts to enhance the flavors of the base beer, with past versions including Peanut Butter Temptress, Salted Caramel Temptress and French Quarter Temptress.

In an email, Ryan Meigs, creative director at Lakewood, told Tenemu that Double Chocolate Temptress will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are scheduled to be released at retailers starting May 1.
