Houston-based Karbach Brewing Co. has announced the upcoming release of the latest version of its Bourbon Barrel Hellfighter, Bourbon Barrel Hellfighter with Cherries.

Bourbon Barrel Hellfighter is an imperial porter which Karbach has made four times previously, with two batches being standard Bourbon Barrel Hellfighter, one being Bourbon Barrel Hellfighter with Vanilla, and the most recent being Bourbon Barrel Hellfighter with Chocolate. In its announcement, Karbach stated that 20,160 pounds of cherries were used in the brewing of Bourbon Barrel Hellfighter with Cherries. While there are no official numbers released at this time, it’s likely that it will have 85 IBUs and an ABV between 11.5 and 12.5 percent as with all previous versions.

The beer will be released on Dec. 12.

Update (Dec. 1, 2016) — Added release date.
