A returning beer from Odell Brewing Co. next week will have fans saying “Arrrrrrrrrrrr.”

Jolly Russian 2018 is a 13.3 percent ABV Russian imperial stout that has been aged in rum barrels and packaged 12-ounce bottles.

The stout debuted in September 2016 and was not released in 2017; however, unlike the first incarnation, the newest version will be part of Odell’s Cellar Series, which is made up of beers that can be aged in barrels for long periods of time.

According to a post on Odell’s Facebook page and a post on the brewery’s website, Jolly Russian 2018 will be released during an event at the brewery on Aug. 31 and will feature a limit of two 12-ounce bottles per person purchase limit. Bottles of the stout will then be shipped to retailers across the Fort Collins, Colo.-based brewery’s 13-state distribution footprint soon after.

An email sent to the brewery for more information on pricing, brewing information and shipping date and production numbers was not immediately returned.
