After a little more than a year’s hiatus, Jester King Brewery is again releasing La Vie en Rose.
The Austin, Texas brewery will be releasing the second batch of La Vie en Rose, a 6.2 percent ABV farmhouse ale that is brewed with steel cut oats, pilsner and wheat malts as well as golding, fugues and perle hops. After brewing, the beer was then refermented with the same raspberries that were used for Atrial Rubicite (5.8 percent ABV.) About 2,200 bottles were filled.
La Vie en Rose was originally released in January 2014, when only 200 bottles were available.
According to a post on Jester King’s Facebook page, the newest release of La Vie en Rose will be packaged in 750ml bottles ($14) and will have a limit of one bottle per person per day when it goes on sale on August 14.
