Jester King Brewery and Other Half Brewing Co. have joined forces on a beer that incorporates a very unique ingredient.
The two breweries have collaborated on Urban Mutation, a 10 percent ABV “high gravity farmhouse ale” aged in oak barrels for 18 months before being refermented with Motueka hop-infused honey. According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and post on Jester King’s Twitter page, the ale was brewed at Jester King in Austin, Texas in May 2017 and was packaged in 750ml bottles in February of this year.
