Just days after Jester King Brewery announced that it was losing its head brewer, Sante Adairius Rustic Ales has done the same.
According to a post on the Capitola, Calif.-based brewery’s Facebook page, Jason Hansen will be leaving the head brewer position on Friday after more than three years to “explore other opportunities in the craft beer world.” Hansen started as an assistant brewer before being promoted to head brewer.
“While collectively very proud of Jason’s decision to leave us for bigger and better things, we will all miss his presence around the brewery,” reads a statement on SARA’s Facebook page. “As head brewer, Jason created numerous new beers and blends, and was pivotal in maintaining the standards and quality of beer that have come to define Sante Adairius. Jason’s impact and leadership have been monumental to SARA’s growth, and his dedication to our brewery cannot be overstated.”
Hansen’s last day at the brewery will be Friday.
