For fans of Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers, the time has finally come.

The Framingham, Mass.-based brewery has starting canning its beers for the first time and first off of the production line is Calyptra, a 4.9 percent ABV session imperial pale lager that is brewed with calypso and Citra hops.

According to a post on the brewery’s website, Calyptra is only the first of many beers heading to cans, soon followed by Hoponius Union imperial pale lager (4.2 percent ABV), Leisure Time wheat lager (3.8 percent ABV and House Lager (5.2 percent ABV.) Calyptra, Hoponius Union and Leisure Time will be sold in 12-packs of 12-ounce cans, while House Lager will be packaged in six-packs of 16-ounce cans.
