Staring in April, fans of Jack’s Abbey Brewing in eastern Pennsylvania will be able to buy its beers locally.
The Framingham, Mass.-based brewery will be partnering with Shangy’s to bring its year-round beers, including Hoponius Union American pale ale (6.7 percent ABV), Mass Rising imperial pilsner (8 percent ABV), Leisure Time lager(4.8 percent ABV), Jabby Brau American pale lager (4.5 percent ABV) and Smoke & Dagger rauchbier (4.8 percent ABV) to eastern Pennsylvania. In addition, some seasonal and limited edition brews including Framinghammer Baltic porter (10 percent ABV), Saxonator doppelbock (9 percent ABV) and Calyptra American pale lager (6.7 percent ABV) will be available when they are released.
“We are extremely excited to partner with Shangy’s and expand into the Pennsylvania market,” said Sam Hender, co-owner and head of sales at Jack’s Abby, in a press release. “We believe Pennsylvania beer drinkers will be intrigued and pleased by our unique offering of craft lagers.”
Jack’s Abby is currently distributed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, upstate New York and parts of Vermont.
