We now know the date when two of J. Wakefield Brewing’s most anticipated annual releases will go on sale.
According to a post on the Miami-based brewery’s website, the date for Miami Madness Day 2019 will be Sept. 28, one day earlier than last year. As the name of the event indicates, it will be the time that fans can purchase bottles of Miami Madness 2019, a 7 percent ABV imperial Berliner weisse brewed with guava, mango and passionfruit.
However, there will also be another popular release at the same event, namely Cuvee de Wakefield 2019, a 6.5 percent ABV ale that is a combination of two different berliners: DFPF— which stands for Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit, the fruits that the ale is conditioned on—and the aformentioned Miami Madness.
According to a post on J. Wakefield’s Facebook page, both Miami Madness 2019 and Cuvee de Wakefield 2019 are packaged in 750ml bottles priced at $25 each. Wristbands will be available at noon on Sept. 16 in the brewery’s taproom that will entitle the holder to purchase two bottles of each beer during the event on Sept. 28, and proxies will be permitted as long as they have the original purchasers ID card.
