Ithaca Beer Co. is putting Flower Power in bottles, but not without some changes.
Java Power, a 7.5 percent ABV IPA brewed with coffee that was previously a draft-only release, is now heading to bottles. It’s a modified take on Flower Power (7.5 percent ABV), an IPA brewed with 2-row pale and honey malts and simcoe, chinook, citra, Ahtanum and centennial hops before being dry-hopped with simcoe, Amarillo and centennial hops.
According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Java Power will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
