This past Saturday, Hudson Valley Brewery released two new beers—Fallow and Verdant—as well as a release from last year.

Fallow is a 7 percent ABV sour IPA made with wheat, malted oat, milk sugar, peaches, lemon peel and vanilla beans; hopped with El Dorado and Mosaic packaged in a 16-ounce cans. It was sold in a four-pack ($20), limited to one case per person.

Verdant is an 8 percent ABV sour IPA made with wheat, malted oat, milk sugar, grapefruit, rose petals, marigold flowers and lemongrass; hopped with cashmere also in a 16-ounce can. It was also sold in a four-pack ($20), limited to one case per person.

Finally, those who attended also were able to purchase Valley Beer Summer 2018, a 5 percent ABV sour farmhouse ale brewed with 100 percent New York ingredients, fermented in foudres with wild yeast and souring bacteria, and aged for one year in oak wine barrels. It was limited to two bottles per person.
