Hoppin’ Frog Brewery and Lervig Aktiebryggeri, a brewery in Stavanger, Norway, have brewed the second of three European collaborations Hoppin’ Frog has planned for this year.

The new beer is Sippin’ Into Darkness: Chocolate Martini Imperial Stout, a 12 percent ABV stout with 50 IBUs. It is brewed with flaked oats, candy sugar, Aurora hops, lactose sugar, cocoa nibs, and vanilla.

It is the second beer being released in Hoppin Frog’s 2016 European Tour Collaboration Series. The series, which started in 2012, is composed of beers brewed by Fred Karm, the brewmaster at the Akron, Ohio-based brewery, and breweries across Europe.

Hoppin’ Frog’s collaboration with Dry & Bitter Brewing Co. of Copenhagen, Old School Baltic Porter: American-Style, was released earlier this year. The final beer of this year’s series will be 5-Alarm Chili Beer: American-Style, a collaboration with Siren Craft Brew of the United Kingdom.

Sippin’ Into Darkness: Chocolate Martini Imperial Stout will be available in 330ml bottles and will be on draft at Hoppin’ Frog starting October 15.
