The newest incarnation of one of Hill Farmstead Brewery’s most popular ales is scheduled to be released this week.

Flora: Raspberry is a 5 percent ABV farmstead wheat ale aged in oak wine barres and conditioned on fresh raspberries sourced from Fisher Brothers Farm in Shelburne, Vt. As the name suggests, the wheat saison uses the the Greensboro Bend, Vt.-based brewery’s Florence (5 percent ABV) as its base before it is aged in wine barrels and fruit is added.

There have been a number of Flora variants released incorporating raspberries, including Flora Blueberry/Raspberry, Flora Raspberry, Cherry and Northern Kiwi and Flora: Raspberry/Elderberry.

According to a post on Hill Farmstead’s website, Flora: Raspberry will be packaged in 375ml bottles ($20) with a three bottles per person purchase limit when it is released at the brewery on Jan. 23.
