It has been less than three weeks since the last version was released, but fans of Hill Farmstead Brewery’s Flora are getting another variant Wednesday.
Flora: Raspberry/Elderberry is a farmstead wheat ale aged in a single oak wine barrel and conditioned on fresh raspberries sourced from Elmore Roots Nursery in Elmore, Vt. as well as elderberries sourced from Thornhill Farm. The wheat saison uses the the Greensboro Bend, Vt.-based brewery’s Florence (5 percent ABV) as its base before it is aged in wine barrels.
This will be the sixth fruited Flora variant to be released this year:

- Flora Blackberry 2019 — Jan. 16
- Flora Blueberry/Raspberry — Feb. 6
- Flora Raspberry, Cherry and Northern Kiwi — April 24

According to a post on its website, Flora: Raspberry/Elderberry will be packaged in 375ml bottles ($20) with a one bottle per person purchase limit when it is released at the brewery on May 29.
