The newest version of a popular stout from Hill Farmstead Brewery that is dedicated to a beloved dog goes on sale next week.

The beer is Damon, an imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels “from our favorite distilleries.” The stout debuted in 2011 and has had a number of variants released since then, including Port Barrel Damon in 2017, Double Barrel Damon in 2013 and Damon: Finca Buena Vista this year.

“The time spent with loved ones, now lost, seems to affect our mind and body perpetually; memories happen upon us, unsuspectingly, and bring about tears of fond remembrance,” reads a post on Hill Farmstead’s website. “Damon (1993-2004) was our brother—devout and patient in an age of busyness and distraction.”

According to Hill Farmstead, the newest batch of Damon will be packaged in 500ml bottles ($28) that will be released on Oct. 24 with a three bottle per person purchase limit.
