According to a post on Hill Farmstead Brewery’s website, three beers were released today that fans might remember.
First is Elaborative Four, a 3.2 percent ABV “farmstead ale” that was inspired by the German radler-style beer and was brewed with “ample amounts” of grapefruit zest and juice, oats and wheat. The ale was originally released in 2015 and was brewed in collaboration with Jackie O’s Pub & Brewery, Crooked Stave Artisan Ales and Side Project Brewing. Elaborative 4 is packaged in 750ml bottles ($10) and has no purchase limit.
The second beer released today is Nordic Saison, a farmstead ale “inspired by our guests and their journeys” that was brewed with honey, local rhubarb, rose hips and heater flowers. The farmstead ale was first released in 2014 and was brewed in collaboration with Anders Kissmeyer of Kissmeyer Beer & Brewing and Will Meyers from Cambridge Brewing Co. Nordic Saison is packaged in 750ml bottles ($10) and has no purchase limits.
Finally, Hill Farmstead released Vera Mae 2016, a farmstead ale brewed with Vermont wildflower honey and dandelion flowers before being aged in French oak wine barrels. Originally released in 2011, the ale is packaged in 750ml bottles ($20) and has a two bottle per person purchase limit.
