Highland Park Brewery has two options to get your weekend flowing. Ultra Cloud Hazy IPA and Timbo Pils will be available in four-packs beginning March 31 “around” 4 p.m.
First up, from the Los Angeles-based brewery, is a new beer called Ultra Cloud Hazy IPA. In an email sent to subscribers “we went full Citra with Ultra Cloud. Dry hopped at a rate of around 4 lbs. per barrel, we got giant flavors of Mango, Pineapple, and Papaya out of the Citra hops.” The beer features 7 percent ABV and will be sold for $17 per four-pack.
Previously available on draft, Timbo Pils is a style mash-up between a west coast IPA and German pilsner.
“We used more German influenced hops in the kettle (Czech Saaz, Opal, and Saphir) which gives the beer a softer bitterness and a nice floral and earthy hop base. We then used Mosaic and Motueka for dry hopping to bring out the tropical west coast flavors of mango, riesling grapes, and passionfruit.”
Timbo sports 5.8 percent ABV and will go for $16 per four-pack.
Both beers are canned at 16-ounces. Purchasers can expect a purchase limit of two or three four-packs of each beer. Currently, Highland Park beer is not distributed. The sale will take place in the back of Highland Park’s parking lot near the brewery.
Update (March 29, 2017) – This post was updated to include distribution and additional packaging information.
