There are a Boatload of IPAs coming from Clipper City Brewing Co.’s Heavy Seas brand.
The Baltimore, Md.-based brewery has announced it will be releasing the Boatload IPA sampler under its Heavy Seas Beer brand, which will include a dozen 12-ounce bottles of some of its most popular IPA releases.
Included in the sampler will be Loose Cannon IPA (7.25 percent ABV), which incorporates warrior, simcoe, palisade, centennial, cascade and citra hops; CrossBones Session IPA (4.5 percent ABV) which is brewed with Amarillo, cascade, chinook and sorachi ace hops; Double Cannon IPA (9.5 percent ABV), a double IPA that uses warrior, simcoe, palisade, centennial, cascade and citra hops and Black Cannon IPA (7.25 percent ABV), a black IPA that is brewed with warrior, simcoe, palisade, cascade, centennial, and amarillo hops.
While both Crossbones Session IPA and Crossbones IPA are year-round releases, Double Cannon IPA is a former seasonal release that will be transitioning to a year-round offering next year, while Black Cannon IPA was last offered as a seasonal release in 2014.
According to a press release, the Boatload IPA Sampler will be available starting in November in all 18 states that make up Heavy Seas’ distribution footprint.
