Harpoon Brewery is adding a beer to its year-round lineup named Sweet Spot, a 4.8 percent ABV “golden ale” brewed with German hops.
“When we start thinking about different styles to try out, one of the criteria is that it’s a beer we’d be excited to bring to a party and share with friends,” said Dan Kenary, co-founder and ceo of Harpoon, in a press release. “On the one hand, it’s perfect for drinkers who are just starting to dip their toes into craft beer and are looking for something flavorful but easy drinking. But it’s also perfect for the devoted craft beer drinker who appreciates – and loves – a really well made, light, crisp, golden ale.”
According to a press release, Sweet Spot is packaged in both 12-packs of 12-ounce cans and six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and is shipping to retailers in the Boston, Mass.-based brewery’s distribution footprint now.
