Harpoon Brewery has released its first new fall seasonal in more than 25 years.
The beer is Flannel Friday, a 5.3 percent ABV “hoppy amber ale” brewed with Cascade and Citra hops. The ale was first released by the Boston-based brewery earlier this year as a draft-only option, and is replacing Harpoon’s Octoberfest (5.3 percent ABV) as the brewery’s fall seasonal release.
According to a press release, Flannel Friday is packaged in 6 and 12-packs of 12-ounce bottles as well as 12-packs of 12-ounce cans and is shipping to retailers in the brewery’s distribution network now.
