Full details for this Saturday 5/13 at 10am. A couple weeks ago we had the privilege of brewing with Brandon from @theanswerva and Daniel from @mikkellersd on back to back days and now we've got some more beautiful IPA to share. Raining Three's Triple Dry Hopped Imperial IPA(8.5%) with @theanswerva is a slightly bigger, triple dry hopped version of No Lay Ups. Brewed with a huge amount of Galaxy, Citra and Motueka(we had a Wai-iti shortage so we had to use Motueka for this version for those of you paying attention). $20 per 4 pack, 1 case per person. Double Dribble Double Dry Hopped Imperial IPA(7.8%) brewed with @theanswerva is jammed with Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo and Lemondrop. $20 per 4 pack, 1 case per person. Crooked Crops IPA(7.6%) with @mikkellersd @mikkellerbeer is brewed with Galaxy, Jarrylo, Topaz and South African hops Southern Aroma and XJA. We also brewed a DDH version that has a second dry hopping with Southern Passion and Galaxy. Regular version is $18 per 4 pack, 1 case per person. DDH version is $20 per 4 pack, three 4 packs per person. Limits subject to change.

Next up is Raining Three’s, a “slightly bigger” take on last summer’s No Lay Ups according to an Instagram post. It is a triple dry-hopped imperial IPA clocking in at 8.5 percent ABV. This beer will also come in four-packs of 16-ounce cans and retail for $20 per pack. Sales of both Double Dribble and Raining Three’s will be limited to one case per person.

It should be noted that due to a shortage of available stock, one key difference between No Lay Ups and Raining Three’s is the absence of Wai-iti hops. This also affected the resulting ratio of Citra, Galaxy and Motueka varietals used in Raining Three’s.

The next pair of beers are collaborations with Daniel Cady from the San Diego location of Mikkeller. Crooked Crops IPA is brewed with Galaxy, Jarrylo, South African and Topaz hops Southern Aroma and XJA varietals. This beer will go for $18 per four-pack.

If you find Crooked Crops to be lacking in hop character, there is also a double dry-hopped version featuring additional Galaxy and Southern Passion hops. The double dry-hopped version will retail for $20 per four-pack. Sales of Crooked Crops will be limited to three four-packs per person.

An email sent to Other Half seeking additional details on the release was not immediately returned.
