Next week, Grimm Artisanal Ales will be releasing Catch Wave, a 6.4 percent ABV IPA. In an email, Joe Grimm, owner of Grimm Artisanal Ales, told Tenemu that the beer is brewed with El Dorado, Falconer’s Flight, and hallertau blanc hops.
This is the second time that the Brooklyn, N.Y.-based company has used the Wave moniker, after Pulse Wave double IPA (8.5 percent IPA) was released in 16-ounce cans last year.
Catch Wave is being brewed at Sterling, Va.-based Beltway Brewing Co. and packaged in 16-ounce cans for distribution exclusively in N.Y. Grimm also told Tenemu that the IPA has a tentative release date of July 20.
