A new Yeti variant would be a perfect beer to be enjoyed during Valentine’s Day.
According a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Great Divide Brewing Co. is working on releasing Chocolate Cherry Yeti, a 9.5 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with sweet and sour cherries as well as cacao. The new stout will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles and uses the Denver, Colo.-based brewery’s Yeti (9.5 percent ABV) as its base, a beer that was originally released in 2003.
The new stout will join multiple variations of Yeti that have been released over the years, including Chocolate Oak-Aged Yeti, Oak-Aged Vanilla Yeti brewed with vanilla and aged in both French and American oak barrels, and Chai Yeti brewed with black pepper, cinnamon, ginger, green cardamon, nutmeg and vanilla.
An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
