Goose Island Beer Co. is making a round with the seasons.
The Chicago, Ill.-based brewery will be releasing Summer Experimental Ale, a 4.5 percent ABV lager brewed with millennium and Hallertau hops that are grown at Elk Mountain Farms in Idaho. This is the third Experimental Ale bottle release, after Autumn Experimental Ale (5.7 percent ABV) was released in August as part of the brewery’s Autumn Variety Packs and Winter Experimental Ale(6.2 percent ABV), which was released in October.
According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Summer Experimental Ale will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not immediately returned.
