With summer coming to a close the anticipation for another Fulton and Wood release has been mounting. Just in time for autumn a “late summer sipper” is on the way for enjoyment as the days begin to shorten.

Le Gardien “has a slightly sweet, yet balanced maltiness and a subtle hint of pear” according to a Facebook post. The beer clocks in at a smooth 5.6 percent ABV with 30 IBU. Le Gardien will only be available on draft, the photo of a Le Gardien bottle, is nothing more than a prop.

The release party will be held on Sept. 14 at the Joinery, also located in Chicago. Tickets to the release party are $10 each and are available through Eventbrite.
