A new ale from Goose Island Beer Co. is meant to inspire feelings of “rebirth and renewal.”
According to a label filed with Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the Chicago-based brewery is working on releasing Vernalis, a 5.4 percent ABV double dry-hopped American pale ale brewed with Chinook, Citra, Experimental 586 and Loral hops.
The brand new ale will come in at 40 IBU and is slated to be packaged in 16-ounce cans.
The name Vernalis translates from Latin to of the spring.
An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
