When you are talking about a legendary beer such as Goose Island Brewing Beer Co.’s Bourbon County Brand Stout, 22-ounce bottles is apparently not enough any more.

The brewery has filed for label approval of a new 25-ounce bottle of the Bourbon County Brand Stout with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) indicates that it will come in at 13.5 percent ABV and that it will be bottled on Oct. 13, 2015.

According to a a source at AB-InBev, which owns the Chicago, Ill.-based brewery, Bourbon County Brand Stout in 25-ounce bottles will be sold nationally on Nov. 27, 2015—black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving—joining the four packs of 12-ounce bottles consumers have seen for the last few years This will be the first time a Bourbon County Brand Stout release has used 25-ounce bottles, although the numerous variants that are available every year have been packaged in 22-ounce bottles.
