The Great American Beer Festival returns to Denver, Colo. from Oct. 5-7 this year for the 36th annual incarnation of the event.

Last year, over 60,000 people flocked to the festival, the largest audience in its history. More than 3,800 beers from almost 800 breweries were also in attendance, also a record.

The Brewers Association announced the two release days for tickets this year:

  • Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 12 p.m. for members of the Brewers Association and the American Homebrewers Association
  • Wednesday, Aug. 2 at 12 p.m. for the general public, limit four per buyer

If you join the Brewers Association or American Brewers Association prior to July 23, you are eligible to buy tickets on Aug. 1.

Pricing is $85 for each of the three day sessions, which run 5:30-10:00 p.m. local time. The Members Only Session on Saturday, which is 12-4:00 p.m., runs $70 and a designated driver ticket is $30.

Tickets include unlimited one-ounce samples of thousands beers, a commemorative tasting cup and program.

There is a limit of four tickets per purchase and two tickets for the members only session.

Tickets sold out in just over an hour in 2016.
