Next month, Funky Buddha Brewery is releasing one of its most popular seasonal beers during an event that bears its name.

As with previous releases, Maple Bacon Coffee Porter 2018 is a 6.4 percent ABV porter brewed with real maple syrup, coffee and applewood smoked salt from a local spice shop. The beer debuted in 2011 and was available exclusively at the Funky Buddha Lounge and Brewery in Oakland Park, Fla. before being bottled first the first time in 2014.

The porter will be released during the brewery’s Maple Bacon Coffee Porter Festival 2018, featuring an estimated 100 beers from more than 50 different breweries, including Cigar City Brewing, J. Wakefield Brewing and Toppling Goliath Brewing Co.

There are three different ticket options available, each of which include a specified number of bottles as well as a Maple Bacon Coffee Porter 2018 Bottle Popper:

  • General Admission Ticket — $55
  • 4 Bottle Ticket — $115
  • 12 Bottle Ticket — $235

According to Funky Buddha, any unsold bottles of Maple Bacon Coffee Porter will be released to the public in the brewery’s tap room on Jan. 14 as well as being distributed to retailers “throughout the state at the end of January.”
