Soon, fans of Funky Buddha Brewery’s Blueberry Cobbler Ale will be able to enjoy it in smaller portions.
According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the Oakland Park, Florida-based brewery will be releasing its Blueberry Cobbler Ale in 12-ounce bottles for the first time. The 5.4 percent ABV wheat ale brewed with blueberries, cinnamon and vanilla has only been available in 22-ounce bottles since it was first released in 2011.
“This ain’t your grandma’s fizzy blueberry lager,” reads the beer label. “Blueberry Cobbler is a copiously blueberried (sic) glass of goodness with real cinnamon and vanilla added. It’s purple, not because we add coloring, but because we use natural blueberries. So go ahead and sneak a slice. We won’t tell.”
An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not immediately returned.
