One of Funky Buddha Brewery’s most anticipated seasonal creations is returning next month, but this time in smaller bottles.

As with previous releases, Maple Bacon Coffee Porter 2020 is a 6.4 percent ABV porter brewed with real maple syrup, applewood smoked salt from a local spice shop and coffee roasted locally by Brooklyn Water Bagel. The beer debuted in 2011 as a draft-only option and was available exclusively at the Funky Buddha Lounge and Brewery in Oakland Park, Fla.

However, while the popular release was packaged for the first time in 2014 and has been sold in 22-ounce bottles every year since then, the newest incarnation will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles for the first time.

The porter will be released during Funky Buddha’s Maple Bacon Coffee Porter Festival 2020 taking place on Jan. 11 at the brewery’s tap room, featuring more than 50 Funky Buddha beers on draft. Unlike previous events, there will not be an entrance fee to attend the festival, but there are two different prepaid options available for purchase: the VIP Early Access Sampling and MBCP Fest Pre-Order Package.

According to Funky Buddha, four-packs of 12-ounce bottles of Maple Bacon Coffee Porter 2020 will be on sale during the event priced at $15 each with no purchase limit, and will also be distributed to retailers starting after the event.
