A new barrel-aged beer being released Funky Buddha Brewing next week was inspired by a desert popular in Italy.

Rum Barrel-Aged Tiramisu is a 12 percent ABV imperial cream ale with freshly roasted coffee, sticky vanilla, and cocoa nibs and aged for “months” in rum barrels. The ale debuted as a draft-only option last month, but this is the first time it has been packaged in bottles.

Rum Barrel-Aged Tiramisu will be the latest edition in Funky Buddha’s Living Barrel Series, which is made up of beers aged in various types of barrels and packaged in 22-ounce bottles and includes other other beers like Bourbon Barrel-Aged Save Room For Later, Barrel-Aged Muy Bonita and The Love Below 2018.

According to a post on Funky Buddha’s website, Rum Barrel-Aged Tiramisu will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles ($20) with a purchase limit to be determined when is released on July 31 at the brewery.
