One of Fremont Brewing Co.’s most anticipated releases is coming this week.

The Rusty Nail will remain a 13.2 percent oatmeal stout brewed with Magnum and Yakima golding hops before being aged in 12-year-old bourbon barrels for 15 months. The barrel-aged stout uses the Seattle-based brewery’s The First Nail (11.5 percent ABV) as its base and was first released in 2014.

According to a post on Fremont’s Instagram page, The Rusty Nail will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles ($20) and will have a two bottle limit when it goes on sale on July 9 at the brewery before hitting distribution soon after.
