This weekend, Fremont Brewing is releasing one of its most popular barrel-aged stouts.

The Rusty Nail is 14.5 percent ABV imperial oatmeal stout brewed with licorice, smoked barley, pale malt and aged cinnamon bark before being aged for 15 months in 12-year-old bourbon barrels. The stout was first released by the Seattle-based brewery in 2016 and uses Fremont’s The First Nail stout as its base.

According to a spokesperson for Fremont Brewery, The Rusty Nail will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles ($22) and is scheduled to have a two bottle per person purchase limit when it is released on June 23. In addition, bottles will be sent to retailers in Alaska, California, Colorado, Idaho, Japan, Oregon and Washington.
