Fremont Brewing Co. is celebrating its 3,000th beer by releasing a very specific creation.
The appropriately named Brew 3000 is an English-style barleywine that was aged in barrels that previously held Heaven Hills bourbon for one year. This is the third time that Fremont has released a barrel-aged English-style barleywine to commemorate such a milestone, after Brew 1000 was released in 2015 and Brew 2000 was released in 2017.
According to a post on Fremont’s Facebook page, Brew 3000 will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles that are scheduled to be released at the brewery on March 2 with a two bottles per person purchase limit. Bottles will also be sent out to Fremont’s entire distribution network in “limited” quantities.
