Seattle-based Fremont Brewing Co. is celebrating a major milestone by releasing a very special beer.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), that creation is Peated Barrel-Aged 11th Anniversary Stout, a 12.2 percent ABV imperial stout aged for 15 months in barrels that previously held Westland Peated Single Malt Whiskey.

The new stout will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles and is being released to commemorate Fremont’s 11th anniversary in business, after the brewery first opened its doors in 2009.

An email sent the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
