Fans of Founders Brewing Co.’s ReDANKulous red IPA will be able to enjoy the beer in smaller bottles starting immediately in July.
According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the imperial red IPA will remain at 9.5 percent ABV and will continue to be brewed with caramalt and roasted barley as well as chinook, mosaic and simcoe hops. ReDANKulous joined the Grand Rapid’s Mich.-based Backstage Series in July 2015 and was originally packaged exclusively in 750ml bottles.
In Dec. 2015, Founders announced its 2016 schedule, including the fact that ReDANKulous will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles and will be available starting sometime in July.
An email sent to the brewery for additional information regarding a specific release date and distribution details was not immediately returned.
