Almost one year after it was retired, an extremely popular Founders Brewing Co. creation is being released again next month.
That beer is Imperial Stout, a 10.5 percent ABV imperial stout that is brewed with ten varieties of malted barley. The stout has been a popular seasonal release since its debut and was “retired” last year, although the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based brewery did release a barrel-aged version for the first time as part of its Mothership Series in January.
Imperial Stout is back from retirement!
That’s right, our Imperial Stout has made its welcome return to the lineup. Starting this Friday (11/8), our Grand Rapids taproom will have 4-pack bottles and draft available. Everyone else will see bottles and draft in the coming weeks. pic.twitter.com/0k2vWtIYai

According to a post on Founders’ Twitter page, Imperial Stout 2019 will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are scheduled to be released at the brewery’s Grand Rapids taproom on Nov. 8. Bottles will then be shipped to retailers across Founders’ distribution network “in the coming weeks.”
