A seasonal release coming from Founders Brewing Co. next month might seem a bit familiar to fans.

The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based brewery will be adding Founders Pilsner, a 5.5 percent ABV pilsner-style ale brewed with American hops. Founders had debuted a pilsner-style ale with the same ABV named PC Pils in 2016 that was part of the brewery’s seasonal and was re-released in 2017 and again last year, but there is no confirmation that they are the same beer at this time.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau’s (TTB), Founders Pilsner will be packaged in 12-ounce cans, while Founders 2019 release calendar indicates the ale will be available from March through August.

An email send to the brewery was not immediately returned.
