There is a new version of Firestone Walker Brewing Co.’s Parabola Russian imperial stout is on the way next month.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the beer in question is Scotch Parabola, an 11.5 precent ABV imperial stout aged in scotch barrels that will join Firestone Walker’s Proprietor’s Vintage Series. As the name suggests, the stout uses the Paso Robles, Calif.-based brewery’s Parabola as its base, a Russian imperial stout brewed with hallertau and Zeus hops along with nine different malts.

According to a post on Firestone Walker’s Eventbrite page, Scotch Parabola 2017 will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles and will have a six bottle per person limit with 600 cases available when it is released during the brewery’s XXI Anniversary event on Nov. 4.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
