A collaboration between Firestone Walker Brewing Co. and The Wild Beer Co. that debuted last year could be making a comeback.

According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Firestone Walker Brewing Co. is working on re-releasing Violet Underground, a 5.6 percent ABV “Cross-Atlantic wild ale”  that is a blend of two beers: an ale brewed with French candied violet petals and Somerset Wild, a proprietary wild yeast used solely by Wild Bear at its facility in England; and a version of Firestone Walker’s Bretta Weisse ale conditioned on raspberries and aged in French oak foeders.

The resulting final beer is being packaged in 12.7-ounce bottles.

An email sent to both breweries for additional information was not immediately returned.
